Compare that to Cisco at $166 billion, Intel at $162 billion, IBM at $150 billion, HPQ at $134 billion and Dell at $56 billion.

...Unless Gartner and Chertoff are psychic "gut feelings" and "predictions" are from the culture of FUD (fear, uncertainty & doubt or doom) that have long held their place in the computer and security fields.  

...As for the confidentiality of email -- we all know that you should not put anything in email that you don't want to read on the front page of the Post or NYT.

Many iPhone pros and cons have been discussed since Steve Job's keynote announcement in January, but I did not expect the passerby comments like "get a life" or "it's just a phone".  ...  Additionally it is more than "just" a phone and I find myself trying to make my mouse (track-pad) behave as a multi-touch device just after a few hours of playing with the iPhone.
